Hotel MJ Grand Inn

I had a wonderful solo stay at this hotel. Its located right in the middle of the market near the Clock Tower and Paltan Bazar, that made exploring food options and local shops effortless. The staff were genuinely kind and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. The atmosphere felt welcoming, and the convenience of being surrounded by great food and vibrant energy made my trip even more enjoyable. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort and easy access to the heart of the city!

MJ Grand Inn doesn't take any shortcuts and maintains high service standards. I was pleasantly surprised to see my room. It's spacious for the price, well-furnished and with clean linen. There wasn't a thing out of place. The check-in was smooth and polite, and when I couldn't turn on the TV and aircon, the reception took care of it when I went out for an evening stroll. I was delighted by the warm lights in the room, the large wooden closet with a small safe, and the quaint cane single-seater sofa and circular table with a faux marble top. However, service at breakfast the next day was lackadaisical, even though I made it clear three times that I'd very little time. So, if you're pressed for time, better skip a la carte meals.

I only stayed one night here. I was refused my original booking at another hotel after a long journey as they don't accept foreigners due to C-form requirements. The staff are wonderful here. They helped me to get my suitcases moved to the hotel and helped me settle in. They made sure that I would be able to get to the bus station the next morning. Hotel showers and delicious food from their restaurant. I would definitely stay here again next time I am in Dehradun.

Overall the hotel was good but one person sitting at reception on 30/05/26 first half.He was very rude and trying to be oversmart.He is spoiling the image of hotel.Such person should be removed immediatly.This is a suggestion from my side.

Stayed in Hotel MJ Grand Inn for 2 nights with family. Location of the hotel is very strategic almost bang on Rajpur Road, with good eateries and bakeries at a 2 mins walking distance. Gandhi Park which is just on the other side of the Road is a good place for morning walks and enjoy the nice sun in winters. Rooms are of decent size with king size bed and are maintained clean. Morning breakfast spread is too good with south indian and north indian dishes, fresh fruits, eggs, toast, tea etc.at an affordable add on. Staff is polite and helpful. Would highly recommend for those on business and leisure trips too.
